Bio:

Also known as the Bald Man of Tea, Ketan began with the family tea business in Kolkata and has worked with renowned tea planters, tasters and blenders all over the world. After more than three decades in tea, he is currently advising, mentoring and handholding established and emerging brands in traditional tea and new-age infusions and tisanes. He is a member of the European Speciality Tea Association and an empanelled expert with the Tea Board of India.

He is closely involved with Brook37 The Atelier, a woman-based American tea company founded by a female entrepreneur based in New Jersey. Earlier, he was the Chief Tea Officer with VAHDAM Teas from 2020 to 2024 where he supervised tea-tasting, buying and blends, as well as leading new product development, creating innovative formulations for many partnerships including the highly-acclaimed floral tisanes for Emily In Paris.
