We, tea people, understand tea, tea brewing, tea quality, and tea tasting but, how much do we know about tea’s century long rivalry with coffee? Which beverage is better for your health? What are the processing differences? What factors should be considered to make better products? What are the similarities and differences? Which one really has more caffeine and how much? This presentation will provide a unique opportunity to learn about tea and coffee science and also provide deep knowledge on their health benefits.
1. Understand fundamental difference and similarities between tea and coffee in terms of processing methods, chemical composition, and physical properties.
2. Based on scientific research the health benefits of tea and coffee will be explained along with which one is better for you and why?
3. Tea and coffee products. How are they made and what are the factors influencing quality of those products?
