Las Vegas, NV – December 5, 2005 – The World Tea Expo (WTE) and Sage Group International LLC (SGI), publishers of the Specialty Tea Is “Hot” Report™, have announced a long-term collaboration to increase the value of their products and services to the tea industry. The collaboration will provide tea buyers and sellers with a centralized source for specialty tea news and information. The Specialty Tea is “Hot” Report is an essential tea business publication, used since 1995 throughout the specialty tea industry for vital facts, trend reports, forecasting, and analysis on the tea industry. The WTE, the nation’s premier marketplace for the tea industry, will take place at the Las Vegas Hilton, March 27-29, 2006.

Excerpts from the 6th edition of the Specialty Tea is “Hot “ Report (www.teareport.com) and additional exclusive content from SGI will be distributed to all show attendees in the WTE’s Resource Directory. In addition, Kim Long, author of The American Forecaster Almanac, a widely respected publication covering consumer and business trends, will contribute insight and forecasts on the tea industry and the rapidly shifting consumer environment. With its expanded content, the WTE 2006 show directory will be a first-of-its-kind business reference for the specialty tea industry. “Knowledge is power, and we want to provide the attendees of the World Tea Expo with much more than a typical ‘show guide’,” states Vanessa Kelley, director of marketing at the WTE.

In another first, advance copies of the complete 6th edition of The Specialty Tea Is ”Hot” Report will be available for purchase at the 2006 World Tea Expo at a special discount, offered exclusively to WTE attendees. “We see the World Tea Expo as the vital gateway for specialty tea enterprises looking to network, source new products, and learn firsthand about this emerging industry,” says SGI founder and speaker at this year’s Expo, Brian Keating. “We’re pleased to strengthen our business relationship with the WTE and make it easier for attendees to more readily access data, resources, and contacts to help them grow their specialty tea businesses.”

SGI will also supply on-line content for the free bi-weekly industry electronic newsletter, the World Tea News (www.worldteanews.com). WTE founder and president, George Jage, notes “The World Tea News continues to gain dozens of new subscribers weekly. The thirst for consolidated and pertinent information on the specialty tea industry will be optimally served through our collaboration with SGI and enhancements to our newsletter.”

The World Tea Expo, the first-ever trade show in North America dedicated solely to the tea industry, was launched with a commitment to providing the most comprehensive resources available to serve the industry and spur its growth. This year, the WTE will host approximately 200 companies from around the world and 3,000 buyers and attendees expected. There will also be a program of events to educate, entertain, and connect members of the industry including cooking with tea demonstrations, Chinese and Japanese tea ceremonies, an Iced Tea Shake-Off competition, and 45 educational seminars. Attendees who register for the Expo between now and January 27, 2006 will receive 20% off the price of registration. This event is for the trade only.
