Beth JohnstonBeth Johnston, CEO, Teas Etc.
With more than 11 years in the tea industry, Beth Johnston began her tea journey by chance in 1998 when a delicious cup of Mango Ceylon set in motion her unquenchable thirst. Led only by her enthusiasm to know more, she immersed herself in the cup, learning everything she could about the leaf; botanical, cultural, regional and the technical evaluation of judging leaf and liquor. Beth has worked with growers around the globe and her travels have afforded her the unique opportunity to evaluate tea with some of the world’s masters. As the only female- owned company with winners in the 2008 and 2009 World Tea Championship, she is recognized as having a well- honed palate and the experience to seek out and select quality teas at the source.
