- Use a standard tea cupping set and prepare a comparative tasting.
- Understand the physiology of sensory evaluation.
- Use tea terminology to describe the appearance, aroma, and flavor of tea leaves and liquor.
- Identify quality characteristics of teas made with common production methods and from major producing regions.
- Choose the appropriate tasting techniques for use in purchasing, quality control, and blend development and arrange tastings to minimize personal bias.
